Allen Quallenberg was the senior member of the team that bares his name, until his official retirement on October 31, 2020. His FIRST business career started in 1962.
In 1970, he founded the Rapid Group of printing companies, and in 1986, sold his company to Power Corporation. In 1993, Allen began his second career with RBC Dominion Securities as an Investment Advisor, and in 1995, created Quallenberg Wealth Management with his daughter, Marcy. In 2000, they were joined by Danny Baum, and after 20 years of Mentoring and working together, Danny became the Principal of the team, upon Allen's retirement.
Allen's Community involvement is extensive. He has served as the Golf Chairman, and then President of the Foundation for the Donald Berman Maimonides Hospital Foundation. In 2010, he was honored by Maimonides for his tireless fundraising efforts, and in May 2010, he cut the ribbon at the opening of the "RBC Dominion Securities - Quallenberg Wealth Management" Teaching Centre at Maimonides.
He remains active in Community fundraising, currently on the Boards of B'Nai Brith and the Canadian Associates of Ben Gurion University. Allen and his wife of over 50 years enjoy golf, spending time with family (especially the granchildren), friends and travel. He is looking forward to spending the worst parts of the Canadian winter in Florida, where they can enjoy sunny weather activities, year-round.
We wish Allen only sunny skies, good health and enjoyment of all his adventures in retirement.
