Spring is finally here! After what felt like the longest winter ever, we can all breathe a sigh of relief—warmer weather, longer days, and yes, fewer layers are officially back. I think we've definitely earned this one! 😊

I'm really looking forward to a more relaxed season ahead. No big travel plans this summer—just staying right here in Toronto, soaking up time with friends and family. Honestly, some of the best vacations are the ones where you don't need a boarding pass.

That said, we are buzzing about one major event—the World Cup coming to Toronto! As a huge soccer fan, having this global spectacle right here in our city feels incredibly special. The energy, the atmosphere, the buzz—it's going to be amazing to experience. Full transparency though: we'll be watching from the comfort of our couch because, well, let's just say I'm not prepared to mortgage the house for a ticket!

On a personal note, everyone here is doing wonderfully. Mama Visram is thriving at 95—we're so grateful for my sister, who does an incredible job supporting and caring for her. The kids are loving life too—one can't wait to get back on the tennis courts, and the other is counting down the days to the World Cup and outdoor soccer season.

From our team perspective, I'm genuinely grateful. Our team is focused, committed, and we truly feel fortunate to work with wonderful clients like you and your families. A few quick updates as we head into summer

1. Giving back

We recently spent our annual volunteer day at the Common Table program at Church of the Redeemer, preparing and serving meals to those in need. It's one of our favorite days of the year—and it truly makes a difference. (See picture below) If this resonates with you, we'd genuinely love to have you join us next year! Now that tax season is almost wrapped up, we'd love your feedback—especially from accountants who used our new portal for automatic tax slip access. Did it work well for you?
