The most vital part of any relationship is communication. At the MacKay Group we see things no differently. The MacKay Group Wealth Management publishes a weekly newsletter sent to all clients who have requested to receive it. It provides insight into events that happened during the previous week along with company specific information, economic forecasts and Bruce’s commentary. We also provide Daily Market Comments and a Weekly Focus List outlining an overview of the current fixed income and equity markets focusing on our core recommendations and timely ideas.

Developing your personalized investment plan

Delving deeper into your individual situation, we learn specific details about your needs, goals and preferences. Based on these we can formulate specific investment objectives, determine the best ways to achieve them and create your personalized investment plan.

Putting your plan into action

Your investment plan is implemented in a tax-efficient manner, utilizing a wide array of resources only available through RBC Dominion Securities. This includes both proprietary and independent investment research, in-depth portfolio strategy and access to virtually every type of investment worldwide.

Integrating complementary wealth services

In coordination with your other professional advisors, such as lawyers and accountants, and our own team of financial planning specialists, we complement your investment plan with tax, retirement and estate planning solutions.

To align with your values, as we build and manage your personalized portfolio, we can screen in investments that drive positive impact – such as social housing, renewable energy, and human rights – and we can screen out those that may be considered negative – be it tobacco, alcohol, or weapons.

Thematic

For clients who are passionate about one specific issue or cause – for instance, climate change or gender equity – we have the capability to align all investment decisions with one or more responsible investing themes of your choice.

Impactful

Traditionally, investments are measured against risk tolerance and return objectives. For interested clients, we can add a third dimension: impact. This added parameter gives weight to the measurable social or environmental impact of a given portfolio holding.
