Most recently we have been participating with our Cambridge RBC Dominion Securities colleagues by volunteering our time at the Cambridge Food Bank at the end of each month. We spend our time sorting and boxing up the donations that have been received in the community.

On April 25th 2024, we were one of many in attendance at the United Way Waterloo Region Communities, 6th Annual Spirit Awards. The evening was a celebration of community spirit which recognized the outstanding efforts of community leaders, groups and workplaces that ensure the success of the annual United Way Campaign. We are thankful for the United Way's contributions to our community and were privileged to be one of the presenting sponsors of the event and we were honoured to a part of this great evening!

September 14th, 2023: This afternoon we joined United Way Waterloo Region Communities to launch their 2023 campaign with their March of 1000 Umbrellas. This brings hundreds of local businesses, organizations and individuals together to walk from Waterloo City Hall to Carl Zehr Square. The purpose of the walk is to promote United Way WRC, the work they do with advocating for local agencies as well as all of the people that work together to address poverty and inequity in Waterloo Region. We were proud to be in attendance.

On the morning of Sunday May 7th 2023, we gathered at Lutherwood to participate in the "Steps for Kids" Event to raise funds to support youth mental health. This was their first in person event since 2019. There was a fantastic turnout of approximately 300 people despite the wet and grey morning!

This was an excellent event that our team and a few family members decided to join, along with fellow RBC and RBC Dominion Securities colleagues.

April 20th, 2023: We were proud to be a Presenting Sponsor of United Way Waterloo Region Communities 2023 Spirit Awards and are thankful for the United Way's contributions to our community. What a great evening to celebrate the community spirit and recognizing the outstanding efforts of the community leaders, groups and workplaces that ensure the success of the annual United Way Campaign. The spirit of community giving is alive and well in the Waterloo Region, and we were honoured to a part of this great evening!

On September 15th 2022, we attended the "March of 1000 Umbrellas" to commemorate United Way Waterloo Region Communities campaign kick-off! It was a beautiful day to get out with our colleagues from RBC. At the end of the walk we enjoyed some musical entertainment from Cambridge's own, Stacey Kay! Thank you to United Way for all you do in supporting our community. You make a difference every day and we are grateful for all you do!
