Guelph Community Backpack Project 2023

One of the best poverty fighting tools is a full education, one free of disparities and inequalities. This year we are proud to be a sponsor for the Guelph Community Backpack project. This program is lead by Hope House who partners with the Guelph Neighbourhood Support Coalition, the Salvation Arm, the Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington, and the YMCA. This year, our team was able to join other volunteers to pack pencil cases for all different ages.

Breakfast with Kristen Ruttgaizer, Chief People Officer at Igloo Software

In collaboration with RBC Royal Bank commercial account managers, and RBC Group Advantage, we hosted twenty-five local business owners to breakfast and Spring Mill Distillery. Our guest speaker Kristen Ruttgaizer, shared with us her strategies and best practices that had lead her team and company to the 2023 Top Employer List in Waterloo Region. Business owners walked away with valuable information on how to retain and attract employees in this post pandemic world of work.

Michael House 14th Annual Golf Tournament

Thank you Michael House for hosting another successful golf tournament. With a sold out tournament, successful online auction and many sponsors, this event had exceeded their 2023 tournament goal. Congratulations to Michael House and all of the support and generosity of our community.

On September, 25, 2022, Clayson Wealth Management was happy to participate and be the presenting sponsor in the annual Around Downtown fundraising event. We were able to attend with friends and enjoy the best that downtown Guelph food scene has to offer. We sampled food and beverages while supporting local businesses along wth way. The Guelph Community Foundations take donations to invest in endowments which are used to support many programs.

By owning something brand new, the kids feel that they matter, that they are valued and that they have not been overlooked or forgotten. This program is a great way to boost their confidence as they continue on their education journey. Michael House 11th Annual Golf Tournament

We were very honored to be a 2020 Events Sponsor for the 11th Annual Michael House Golf Tournament. Due to Covid, there were a lot of changes that the committee had to overcome to make this year's tournament a success. With the dedication and hard work of the golf committee it turned out to be a successful event. It is always a pleasure to work and golf along side great volunteers and sponsors. Michael House 12th Annual Golf Tournament

We are very honored to be a 2021 Events Sponsor for the 12th Annual Michael House Golf Tournament. The rain came by for a quick visit, however everyone enjoyed the day despite a little drizzle. Thank you to the golf committee, golfers and Michael House for putting together another successful golf tournament.

Our Community, Stronger Together!

The last week of April 2020, our team organized a community food drive to collect food items for the Guelph Community Food Bank. In the height of the pandemic, we realized that there were people in our community that were struggling and we decided to put together a simple plan for a complex problem. The food drive ran for one week and we were able to collect over 370kg of food as well as monetary donations.  We look forward to working with the Guelph Food Bank and giving back to our community. Black Tie Bingo , Le Cirque 2020

On Saturday March 7th, 2020, over 450 guests came together in support of the Guelph General Hospital, nearly 150 prize donors, as well in-kind service and product providers, and dozens of volunteers. Every year, this event raises funds to help transform the way they deliver medications to patients and provide the safest and highest quality of care possible.We were proud to be a Gold sponsor for this fabulous event and had the honor to participate in an eventful evening of Bingo along side some very special friends. 

RBC Run for the Kids 2020

The weekend of October 17-18th 2020, our team had participated in the Global RBC Virtual Run for the Kids. This event supports 36 youth charities around the world and we're very happy to support such a great cause. Until, next year!
