Leaning on experience and industry accreditations, our team of experts helps bring financial peace of mind to clients like you.
Our personal approach and personalized service centres on you, and it begins with getting to know you, your needs, and your goals.
We design investment portfolios to meet your needs, both now and in the future, with a disciplined process to help keep you on track. Whether your goal is growing wealth, generating income, minimizing taxes or planning for retirement, we tailor solutions to your circumstances. Before recommending anything, we review your situation in depth, define your risk tolerance, and set realistic long-term objectives aligned with your comfort level. Depending on your needs, we may also connect you with our network of RBC specialists—in areas like insurance, estate planning and business planning—to ensure that every financial need and life stage is well planned for.
Our four-step portfolio process is designed to keep your investments working toward your goals at every stage. We start with a discovery meeting, where we take the time to understand your needs, goals, time horizon and risk tolerance. Then we develop an Investment Policy Statement—the guiding principles for how your portfolio will be managed. With that foundation, we build your personalized portfolio with the right balance of stocks, bonds and cash, in collaboration with the firm’s investment strategists and research analysts. Finally, through ongoing monitoring and reviewing, we keep a close eye on your portfolio, making adjustments as needed so it continues to align with your objectives in changing market conditions.
Born and raised in Calgary, the importance of giving back to his community is a priority for Peter and his family.
Peter joined the Calgary Minor Soccer Association as a Director in January 2022. The Calgary Minor Soccer Association is the largest sport organization in Calgary providing year round activity for youth ages 6-19. CMSA is the governing body of youth soccer in Calgary. They support member-clubs as well as provide opportunities for all participants in a fun and safe environment.
For three years, Peter sat on the Cabinet for the United Way of Calgary. During this time, he focused on meeting new and prospective funders with the goal of helping Calgary's impacted communities by changing social conditions and creating opportunities to better the lives for individuals, families and communities. Peter strongly believes in giving individuals the opportunity to reach their potential and improve their quality of life, a reflection of United Way's mission.
Peter was a Director for KidSport Calgary for three years beginning December 2018 to December 2021. A national not-for-profit organization providing support and resources to 177 provincial/territorial and communities, KidSport is about helping those who face financial barriers. Providing opportunities to live healthier lives through organized sports along with the many values that are learned, Peter wanted to volunteer to give back to the city of Calgary.
Growing up, Peter's father worked as a local veterinarian. Having spent much of his childhood around animals, Peter developed an understanding of the importance of providing food, shelter, medical care and the opportunity for adoption; to unwanted, surrendered and lost animals. Together with the Cochrane Humane Society, Peter is committed to giving back to the community that provided him with so many opportunities. With the help of his colleagues from RBC Dominion Securities, Peter helped fundraise for the construction of Cochrane Humane Society's new shelter.
