True success is about alignment! It is about how we present ourselves to the world, how we protect and grow our assets, and how we lift each other up along the way.
Hosted by Elizabeth Duranyik, along with Surmesur Waterloo, and featuring Dress with Darcy, it was a fabulous collective of female entrepreneurs, visionaries, and business owners gathered for an exclusive evening of fashion and friendship. The event was a masterclass in collaboration, showcasing the profound impact of women uniting to support one another’s professional and personal growth.
“When women support women, the entire economic landscape shifts” Elizabeth spoke passionately about financial literacy as a form of self-care and empowerment, reinforcing her mission to ensure that female entrepreneurs have the secure, solid foundations they need to build lasting legacies. Her approach reminds us that true financial planning isn’t just about numbers, it's about nurturing dreams and protecting the people who dream them.
Surmesur was the ideal back drop for the event, surrounded by gorgeous European fabrics, and inspiration. Surmesur stylist, Fitesa, shared their philosophy on custom suiting. They don’t just cut fabric, they help clients put their best face forward in the business world by crafting garments designed specifically for individual bodies and personalities. A custom suit is a statement of intent, and when you look this impeccable, you feel unstoppable.
Adding another layer of strategy to the evening, Colorist, Dress with Darcy helped us connect the dots between wardrobe, psychology and color analysis. She captivated the room with insights on how to strategically use color to enhance your wardrobe and feel your absolute best. She gave examples of how different colors and tones can help to project the best version of you.
As the evening wrapped up, the energy was electric. This wasn’t just a networking event, it was a testament to entrepreneurial togetherness. Women left with not only fresh possibilities with their finances, wardrobes, and brand presentations but with a renewed sense of a connections that were made that evening.

Elizabeth had the pleasure of participating as a panelist representing RBC Dominion Securities along side our Branch Operations Administrator, Shenari Houston-McMilan. Here she was able to share insights on her personal experiences, career path, as well as, offered career advice to students looking to enter the field of wealth management. Being on the University of Waterloo campus brought back incredible memories for her. She was inspired by all the young participants, and can't wait to connect with the students on the next panel in the near future.

Elizabeth had a wonderful day out in the community showing her support for the Zonta Club of Kitchener-Waterloo.
In 2024 alone, over $57,000.00 was raised for international service projects, and 6 organizations within the Waterloo region. All supporting women and girls in need. From food bank assistance, and child wellness, Zonta gives generously to those in need within our communities.
Elizabeth is proud to participate in the Betty Thompson Classic, and support the Zonta Club.

Elizabeth was thrilled to host our most popular workshop again this spring. This gathering featured a popular life coach, Suzanne Chate. Suzanne challenged the group to explore what lies beyond the traditional 9-5 work life. Thought provoking ideas were explored around identity, purpose, and lifestyle changes. All participants received a journal from Elizabeth and were encouraged to envision a fulfilling, and intentional next chapter.
Key financial takeaways were also discussed, such as options for taking CPP, OAS, and how to maximize your investment strategy during this phase of your life.
What is next? Travel, leaving a legacy gift for your children, volunteering to a worthy cause? or staying close to home and enjoying your community.
If you wish to join us for the Fall 2025 session, please contact us to be added to our special events RSVP list.
All family members and guests of our clients are always welcome.

Elizabeth was thrilled to be back and hosting another round of her informative seminars. Suzanne Chate was back to inspire another group of clients to challenge themselves, and think outside the box of what a typical retirement looks like. She lead the group to find purpose beyond a regular work day, and empowered us with ideas and concepts to create a retirement that is not only rewarding but filled with personal purpose.
Elizabeth shared informative information about tailoring a financial picture to suit individual needs. She also answered everyone's favorite question "How much do I need to retire?" The answer is not what most people think. If you would like to find out more about the Retirement workshops, feel free to reach out at any time to book your appointment with Elizabeth.
