I'm proud to share that Elizabeth and Ashley were both recognized with RBC Excellence Awards, a well-deserved honor and a reflection of the care and attention they bring to our clients every day. On the home front, Jessica and I are looking forward to a wedding in Prince Edward County later this month, always a great excuse for a weekend away. The garden is starting to come after doubling the size of our garden plot this spring. Olive recently turned five, and we celebrated with her friends at Flying Squirrel Chatham, a fun (and energetic) afternoon all around. We're also wrapping up skating and swimming lessons with the kids this month.

Well Spring has arrived! Hopefully, warm weather soon! I did not go on winter vacation this year, but I was fine staying at home. There are many events going on in Chatham Kent that we were able to attend. We also love to play cards in the winter with friends. And of course, with family in Ottawa and Collingwood, we do travel a lot to visit them. Our last trip to Ottawa was by train! What a great way to travel rather than fight the traffic. Our oldest granddaughter, Elsana, just turned 17 and is now driving! They grow too fast! Our grandson, Bryson is a soccer player and has many tournaments out of town. My two granddaughters, Ayden and Chloe in Collingwood, both play travel basketball so they keep very busy! This summer my husband and I will be married for 55 years so I hope to have a celebration! We could not do our 50th as it was right at the start of covid. Hope everyone has a great summer!

I'm looking forward to summer. I've already started planning out my vegetable and flower garden, which is one of my favorite things to do. My son has taken up golfing and seems to really enjoy it. My daughter is currently on a university school trip to Africa. Their group is bringing school supplies, books and toiletries to support a local school. She will be gone for 3 weeks. I'm so excited to hear all about her experiences when she returns. I'm sure this trip will leave a lasting impression on her. My husband continues to be involved in standardbred horse racing. His horse will likely begin racing soon in Dresden for the summer season.

As summer approaches, we're preparing for yet another season of Travel Sports! My oldest son Tyler will again be playing for the Chatham Diamonds 13U Rep Baseball Team. My middle son Jordan has left the world of baseball and has joined the Chatham Cougars Travel Football Team. Finally, my youngest son Sawyer, will be trying T-Ball this summer as well. It's going to be a super busy summer, but we look forward to spending our days on the field, while also getting in some kayaking, camping and fishing hopefully!

From the Desk of Elizabeth Zele

Summer is calling, and we're answering! Between pool days and soccer matches, my family is counting down to some incredible trips—the Bahamas in May and Poland in August. There's something special about having those moments to look forward to. Wishing everyone a season filled with sunshine and good times.
