Dismissed.
Dismay.
Disappointed.
Declined.
Denied.
Deleted.
Oh, how delightful… I think, with a touch of sarcasm.
Feeling tested.
Sometimes, when I step away for a few days, I expect a bit of friction.
Several commitments postponed, pending reschedule.
And then a doozy - not just postponed, but cancelled outright. No real explanation. No clear next step. Just… gone.
If I’m honest, disappointment crept in fast.
And right behind it, a familiar story:
Maybe I’m not worthy.
Maybe I overestimated my value.
That’s when I caught myself.
Remembering the work. Remembering the agreements.
Especially this one: don’t take it personally.
Because I don’t know the full story.
And the story I’m telling myself deserves scrutiny too.
Walk. Run. Journal.
And I reminded myself that my value isn’t dictated by someone else’s capacity, timing, or inability to show up.
