Perspective.
Circumstances.
Out on the road, I caught myself asking a simple question.
How do I define it?
How do I define the circumstance in front of me?
Because the definition shapes everything that follows.
A delay can be frustration.
Or space.
A setback can be failure.
Or feedback.
I tell myself, ‘Colleen… choose carefully.’
I come back to the Stoics.
Ryan Holiday. Marcus Aurelius.
The reminder that the obstacle in the path is the path.
Not something to get around.
Something to move through.
And that requires a shift.
Change my perspective.
Change my opinion.
Reframe.
Not as weakness.
As wisdom.
Because the circumstance may not change.
