RBC Dominion Securities - Fraser Valley Community Activitiy
Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation
Since 2019 RBC Dominion Securities - Abbotsford and Chilliwack branches have been partnering with the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation to help raise funds. Furthering the improvement of health care in the facilities and programs operated, funded and endorsed by the Fraser Health Authority within the Fraser Valley Regional Hospital District. Helping to better serve the communities of Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, Hope, Agassiz and Harrison Hot Springs.
In partnering with the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation, we have helped raise over $390,846 in funds to supplement monies available from the government for the benefit of health care services within the Fraser Valley.
And we are not done yet!
As title sponsor for the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation's "Golfing Fore Your Hospitals" annual golf tournament, we help raise awareness and funds that help to ensure the very best health for ourselves and our loved ones now and into the future.
Chilliwack Bowls of Hope Society
Since 2014 our Chilliwack Sub-branch has partnered with the Chilliwack Bowls of Hope Society to raise funds for their Feed the Children Program.
In past years they have held an annual Hot Dog BBQ in conjunction with the local Royal bank branch, which has been very successful. The sub-branch has also been active with the Chilliwack Bowls of Hope Societies annual golf tournament.
This year - 2022, along with the collaboration of some of our fund companies, we raised $7,450, towards the Feed the Children campaign. To date RBC-DS Chilliwack and its partners have helped raise just over $67,500in support of Chilliwack Bowls of Hope Society.
Chilliwack Bowls of Hope Society – Feed the Children Program provides soup and hot lunch items, along with milk and fruit to now 21 schools within the Chilliwack School District.
Through donations from businesses, community partners, and the public, children in need receive over 17,000 bowls of soup each month and this is making a big difference in the Chilliwack community.
