In the client survey administered by RBC, The Charles Lasnier Group-Private Wealth Management was one of the teams with the most satisfied clientele in Canada at RBC Dominion Securities.
Whether by travelling, managing their businesses, spoiling their grandchildren or golfing, Charles Lasnier's clients live their lives according to their priorities and values. To them, money is a tool, a source of freedom and a family responsibility.
Charles’ clients recognize that life is too short to waste time on day-to-day investment decisions, and so they rely on Charles for conservative and transparent wealth management in a way that minimizes risk.
Leaning on experience and industry accreditations, our team of experts helps bring financial peace of mind to clients like you.
Our personal approach and personalized service centres on you, and it begins with getting to know you, your needs, and your goals.
Broken promises will wear out an investor's trust and will make anyone wary of flashy slogans. By contrast, Charles’ commitment is simple but extremely rare, providing clients with a conservative and independent opinion - not necessarily the trendy opinion or the one you want to hear. Charles’ perspective is based on unbiased research and a true analysis of your situation.
Our process is designed to help our clients fulfil their investment needs. We maintain a strong focus on the goals and objectives that our clients have set for themselves, and in turn, determine the best way to achieve them.
In doing so, we create a written plan, also known as an Investment Policy Statement, that adheres to each client’s preferences and objectives. In illustrating clients’ goals we take into account tax considerations, investment alternatives and ultimately an asset mix that best fits the unique individual.
Together, Charles Lasnier’s investment philosophy and process offer our clients the best in wealth management services and expertise.
We provide discretionary portfolio management through Private Investment Management (PIM), where our team takes an active position at investing your portfolio – allowing you to delegate the day-to-day decisions for managing your wealth, while we act as Portfolio Managers – rather than stockbrokers.
Our investment philosophy is based on bottom-up investment process driven by high dividend- paying stocks. Our portfolios must maintain an asset allocation among equities, fixed-income, cash and cash equivalents and alternative investments, as per each your unique investment goals and preferences as outlined in your individual Investment Policy Statement (IPS).
Our fixed-income portfolios are extremely well-diversified (between 10 and 20 issues) and consist of an overall quality rating of “A” or better. Fixed-income holdings will consist of federal, supranational, corporate and provincial issues.
As part of our investment philosophy. We hold ourselves to four key principles:
